Privacy and Security

  1. TLS Encryption: To increase security and privacy, private keys or wallet "seed phrases" are never stored or sent over a network.

  2. Wallet Key Encryption: Data backups and storage are encrypted with AES-256.

  3. Threshold Secret Sharing (⅔): Using threshold secret sharing, AIE Labs cannot reconstruct a user's private key, thereby providing a non-custodial wallet. Additionally, a user's assets are safe even when AIE Labs’ database or the application developers is compromised. In a compromised situation, an attacker may only be able to access one of the three shares, which is inadequate to reconstruct the wallet's private key.
