AIE Name Service (ANS) is a decentralized naming system built on the AIE blockchain that enables you to assign a human-readable .AIE domain name to your lengthy AIE address.

By employing your ANS name as opposed to your AIE address, you have the ability to transmit funds and NFTs to a name that is easily readable by humans, rather than relying on the lengthy sequence of numbers and characters. RNS is seamlessly integrated with games, wallets, and dApps, thereby transforming your .AIE domain name into a distinct identifier throughout the entire AIE ecosystem.

The ANS service is being developed and will be made available upon our main net launch. This online platform acts as a user-friendly interface for overseeing your ANS domains, allowing you to register, organize, and utilize simple-to-recall names instead of your lengthy and intricate AIE addresses.

ANS has four classes of domain names::

• Regular: Regular domain names are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no registration fee or renewal fee (a fee charged for after the initial registration duration expires) at the time of this writing.

• Auctioned: ANS reserved a collection of domain names for auction, which are to be allocated to the highest bidders.

• Reserved: These domain names are not available for typical end-users or DApps developers. They are reserved for AIE Labs’s partners or our own DApps.

• Restricted: Domain names with controversial or overly sensitive themes are blacklisted.
