Challenges

Ethereum's significance within Web3 lies in its foundational role as the premier platform for decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts. Nonetheless, building Web3 applications directly on the Ethereum network in its current form is difficult, due primarily to the network’s scalability issues (e.g., network congestion and high transaction fees during periods of high demand). In the following, we briefly discusses three major challenges, namely Blockchain Scalability, Gas Issues and Unfriendly UX.
