  3. Rakis: Decentralized Verifiable Inference Network

Overview

Rakis aims to democratize AI capabilities by utilizing the collective computing power of connected devices globally. By tapping into the processing resources of individual browsers, Rakis strives to build a scalable and resilient network for AI inference, free from the constraints and limitations of centralized systems.

In the nutshell, Rakis is a permissionless network, allowing anyone with a web browser to join and participate without needing special permissions or credentials. We believe that this open and decentralized approach not only enhances accessibility but also encourages innovation and collaboration within the AI and crypto communities.

Users can participate in AIE Rakis network via their browsers:

  1. Step 1: Join the Network Users only need a modern web browser that supports WebGPU and WebAssembly. Visit the AIE Rakis portal, and your browser will automatically become a node in the network, contributing its computing resources to the collective effort.

  2. Step 2: Request Inference Tasks Once connected, any smart contract or peer can send inference requests to the network, specifying the desired AI model, input data, and security parameters. The network will then distribute your request across multiple nodes, with each node executing the inference task independently.
